Adapting Alternative Dispute Resolution Strategies for a Post-Covid World

This presentation will review San Francisco Unified School District’s partnership with the Bar Association of San Francisco, and their well-established ADR program. While Covid-19 initially seemed to be a barrier to access for ADR, it has turned out to be an opportunity to improve accessibility. By bringing ADR opportunities online, and adapting online procedures to continue accommodating less tech savvy stakeholders, SFUSD’s ADR program has the potential to reach more families than it did pre-pandemic.
