Zoretta Ward-Holloway

Zoretta Ward-Holloway, Esq., Ph.D., is the Director of Dispute Resolution for Indiana Department of Education.  She has been helping school districts, and parents of students with disabilities resolve disputes since 2012, as a State civil mediator.  She holds an educator license in the following areas: 5-12 biology and chemistry, school administrator, curriculum/instruction, and superintendent.   As a k-12 educator, she began her career as a biology, chemistry, and geometry teacher, later served as a general education instructional specialist on a district-wide special education team and ended her stint in k-12 as a high school International Baccalaureate magnet director.  She taught Secondary Education Methods at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis.   She holds a B.S. degree from Jackson State University in Biology, a M.A. degree from Ohio State University in Science Education, a Ph.D. from Indiana State University in Education Leadership, and a J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
