Tena Green

Tena Green is an educational advocate, consultant, and adjunct professor at the University of Northern Colorado.  She also co-hosts Love and Inclusion in the Real World, a podcast exploring inclusion in communities, schools, and beyond. Tena has also worked as an IEP Facilitator with the Colorado Department of Education and is credentialed as a facilitator through the Family Leadership Training Institute, where she has served as a youth facilitator for over 10 years. Tena is also a certified restorative justice facilitator, working with the City of Fort Collins to promote restorative practices. At home, Tena has three sons: Brady, who has Down syndrome and thrives with an IEP; Dylan, who has dyslexia, navigates school with a 504 plan; and Eli, on an Advanced Learning Plan, ensures his brothers don’t get all the spotlight. Their diverse learning styles inspire Tena’s dedication to inclusive education.
