Ms. Shirley Klein has been in the field of education for fifty years. Ms. Klein completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in education and educational psychology at New York University.
Ms. Klein has served in the capacity as a teacher for students with learning differences, educational evaluator, Chairperson for the Committee on Special Education in New York, Administrator for the NYC Central Board of Education, Director of Curriculum and Staff Development for the United Nations International School, Executive Director of The Ross School, Pupil Personnel Director for the Westhampton Beach School District, Principal of the Child Development Center of the Hamptons Elementary School, Director of Special Education for the Rye City School District, and currently holds the position of Assistant Superintendent of Special Education and Student Services for the Darien (CT) Public Schools.
