Myrto Flessas

Myrto Flessas is the Coordinator of Mediation and Facilitation for the BSEA. Her work includes mediator supervision, IEP Team Meeting facilitation, training and outreach to stake holders, and overall program development and oversight. Previously Ms. Flessas was a mediator at the BSEA and mediated over 1,000 cases in more than 60 school districts throughout Massachusetts. Prior to working at the BSEA, Ms. Flessas was a principal attorney in the firm of Flessas & Finocche, LLP. Her work focused on representing parents in special education disputes. Ms. Flessas also provided pro-bono representation for students in special education through the Boston Bar Association and with the Massachusetts Women’s Bar Association in the field of domestic violence divorce as well as mediating custody disputes.  She also previously served on the Board of Directors for the Federation for Children with Special Needs.
