Lisa Pagano

Lisa Pagano served as Policy Specialist in the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). She advised senior leaders on issues impacting State and local implementation of IDEA throughout the nation and developed policy documents that clarified IDEA requirements.

Before joining OSEP, Lisa directed Maryland’s IDEA State complaint resolution activities and supported administration of the State’s IDEA mediation and due process systems. She received her master of social work degree from the University of Maryland and her law degree from the University of Baltimore.

Lisa is retired and serves as a senior consultant to CADRE.
