Elisabeth Teller

Elisabeth Teller has spent the majority of her career in Part C Early Intervention (EI).  She was a provider of direct services for over ten years.  She then transitioned to overseeing one of the largest local providers of EI in Connecticut for more than sixteen years.  She came to the Office of Early Childhood over a year ago. She holds a master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education.  She holds teaching certification for PreK-6 and Comprehensive Special Education Pre-K through 12.  She is also endorsement by the Connecticut Infant Mental Health Association.  Elisabeth assists in leading the Connecticut's Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part C EI System as General Supervision Coordinator supporting the 19 comprehensive EI programs and over 11,000 families each year.  She regularly collaborates with colleagues at the State Departments of Education, Health, and Social Services on all matters related to supporting families with infants and toddlers with disabilities and developmental delays.
