Diana Massaria

Diana Massaria is the Director of the Due Process Department, Division of Special Education.  She he started her career with the LAUSD as a school psychologist and is also a Licensed Educational Psychologist.  She became an administrator over 20 years ago and has worked in special education dispute resolution in a variety of capacities since that time, including as Director, Litigation Research in the Office of the General Counsel.  While an expert in matters of due process, in an effort to provide parents/guardians an alternative to formal litigation, she assisted in the development of the LAUSD’s Informal Dispute Resolution (IDR) process and most recently, she played an instrumental role in the development, enhancement, and augmentation of the LAUSD’s Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) process.
