Cheryl Levine coordinates training, technical assistance and data collection activities for Special Education Mediation Services. She develops and delivers workshops addressing communication, collaborative problem solving and IEP facilitation skills to educators, parents, mediators, and facilitators. Before joining SEMS, Cheryl served as program manager to the Resolution Services Center of Central Michigan’s Permanency Planning (abuse/neglect) Mediation Program. She also has worked in communications, community relations, marketing, and training for the Michigan Department of Education and the Michigan Department of Management and Budget and is a mediator, facilitator and RJ practitioner and trainer. Cheryl earned a bachelor’s degree in special education from Michigan State University.
