Cathy Fromme

Dr. Cathy Fromme began her journey as an educator - as a first grade teacher in Southern California. She has taught and or held administrative positions at all levels of the K-12 education system in California, Oregon and Washington. Cathy

- Facilitated the development and implementation of the Washington State Special Education Mediation system in 1995. This program, was in place before required by IDEA and is still being implemented by OSPI today.

- Served as the Diversity Manager for 1300+ employees at the Washington State Department of Natural Resources where she facilitated, positive/inclusive working relationships and workforce diversity.

- Has provided Common Sense Parenting© sessions as a certified trainer/facilitator.

For over 20 years, Dr. Fromme has written articles, presented, consulted, and provided professional development and technical assistance at all levels of the public education system -school, district, state, higher education and national.

She is currently the Principal of TrustWorks, a consulting firm providing services to social sector and business organizations in trust building, workforce diversity, social capital, and change management and the human aspect of the change process. She also works part-time for the Washington State Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
