Ana Espada has over 20 years of experience training parents and professionals on children’s educational entitlements. Ana is also a specialist in disciplinary issues and has successfully helped hundreds of students by representing them at their school suspension meetings, disciplinary hearings, and appeals.
Ana has been with Advocates for Children of New York, Inc for 23 years and holds the position of Program Co-Director of the agency’s federally funded Parent Training and Information Project and is the Co-Chair of the United We Stand (CPRC) Board of Directors.
Ana holds a BA in Sociology with a minor in Education from Lehman College and received a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Pratt Institute.
